Juliet Cuming and her husband David Shaw became owner-builders and natural home proponents in a roundabout way. Juliet’s background is in fashion, and David worked in the film industry. Since 1988, however, Juliet had suffered from a variety of seemingly unrelated symptoms. Like many other chemically sensitive people, it took her years to make the connection between her health problems and the pollutants in her home and workplace.
